The Golowan Band was created in 1991 originally to lead processions at the Golowan Festival. The Band now promotes the Golowan Festival by performing at other community events around Cornwall.
What makes the Golowan Band unique is their mix of folk instruments, which is unusual within a processing band. Their repertoire includes thirty two traditional Cornish dance tunes.
If you are a competent musician and are interested in joining us, we are seeking new members for our lively, fun-loving band!
